 at 11:53 AMOn this day in 1999,my birthday,i read in the newspaper that six cinema vchairs in Singapore reduced the price of movie tickets on Tuesday from $7 to $5.This reduction was made after attendance in cinemas fell due to the recession and the cheap prices of pirated VCDS.This move enabled people affected by the recession to enjoy movies at a good price and also help control illegal VCD sales.
